WHY PHYSHER?

Don’t Get Hooked.

Tyler Despain, the Physherman

In 2018 the company Tyler Despain worked for was sold. In the wake of the merger, several clients were deemed “too small” for the new company, which left these clients to start from scratch in searching for a new IT and Cybersecurity Service Provider (which is no easy task). Tyler used his 8+ years of IT and Cybersecurity experience working with small and medium sized businesses to fill the hole left behind by the sold company. Tyler then took on the role of the Physherman and started Physher, a company dedicated to providing resources and expertise reserved for large corporations to those who need it most. Since then Tyler, as the Physherman, has been striving to educate organizations and families on the threats they face everyday while using technology. He is dedicated to making sure you Don’t Get Hooked. Tyler holds a CC from ISC2.

You’ve Got Questions…

We’ve Got Answers

DO I REALLY NEED A CYBERSECURITY SERVICE PROVIDER?

Yes, you really do. If you use technology in your business, you need to make sure you’re using the right security services and have the right policies in place to get the job done. If you go in it alone, without a Cybersecurity Service Provider for your small business, you’ll be bombarded by thousands of options that would make anyone’s head spin. Make sure you’re getting the best deal, using the most efficient software, and minimizing employee downtime by using a Cybersecurity Service Provider to take all things technology off your plate. We make it better.

HOW IMPORTANT IS CYBERSECURITY?

If you use any technology, then Cybersecurity is important to you. Do you login to a bank account using the internet? Do you have an online system that manages student information? Do you transmit any personal data (including credit card information) over the internet for processing? These basic online operations subject you to regulations that, if not followed, can result in an incident that can your students at risk. Something as simple as accessing your bank account on an unsecure internet connection can give attackers access to all your banking information. Transmitting card holder data over an insecure line can open you up to credit card fraud. It takes expertise and training to understand all the vectors of attack, the defense mechanisms, and the regulations a school must follow in order to best protect themselves and their students. Cybersecurity attacks cost magnitudes more than mitigation. Administrators and even IT Staff don’t have time to research every new cyber threat or implement every new regulation to secure your school against attacks. We make it better. At Physher, we take care of everything using an iterative process developed from industry standard Cybersecurity Frameworks that will strike an efficient balance between access and security.
